Sounds like you got yourself a virus (a quick google search shows that Mirar is spyware). I'm no expert on malware removal, I suggest you post this issue in the System Security section.

See I dont know if its Mirar or not. I ran the uninstaller and the remover and yet still my keybord skipps. I also tried to run the scans in safe mode. Nothing. I think it has to be another virus or something. : / can anyone help?

It isnt the USB. Well it cant be becuase my keyboard plugs into the keyboard inlet not a USB one. And define what you mean by hardware. Like keyboard and mouse or specs?

So keyboard is PS/2 that plugs in back of computer?

I suggest you reboot into safe mode and try your virus and malware scans again. Also, as someone suggested, try another keyboard just to be sure it's not a hardware issue.

(plus, does it skip in safe mode?)

I ran it in safe mode already and ran all my scans. Also i still get the problem. And i also tried another keybord. I dont know what it could be. It could be a virus a maleware or an adware. I got the virus Mirar then i uninstalled it and it shows on my computer that it went away. but still i am having these issues. So either it didnt go away and its on my computer somewhere or I have another problem. All in all this problem started three days ago when it said "thank you for installing mirar".

P.S. I really want to fix this. If i dont get this fixxed in the next day or two i will need to do a system restore. I REALLY DONT wana do that. Please help me out guys

The only thing left that i can think of if i dont get help with this is that i will have to reboot my whole system with a system reset. That is the last thing i wana do.

I just want to verify that, for Mirar, you went through the registry to remove values, unregistered DLL files, and detected and deleted the mirar process files. This is all done manually (in addition to the scan).

That is the only thing I didnt do. I dont know how even though im sure it would walk me through it. Second it says that i could seriously mess up my computer if I do that. If that the only thing u can think of? Would you happen to know any free ad ware programs that REMOVES after it scans?

My Computer

Well a couple of thoughts. If you are forced to reinstall your operating system (and I know you don't want to), you would have to back up your data anyhow. So for safety safe, you might want to do that.

You are correct about the registry. Anytime you mess with the registry, it could be serious if you don't know what you are doing. And you should not do anything you're not comfortable with.

Having said that, you could 1. backup your registry - which is safe. 2. just search for those items in your registry without making any changes. If you do find them, then you know for sure your problem is caused my Mirar.

Lemur, I see what u are saying. I have one question. What do I do if it isnt Mirar. Im running the scanner u linked in the beginning of this post and so far it hasnt found a Mirar item. Therefore this might not be Mirar. Now i know when i bought my computer it said back up everything to CDs and I did that. So i would have to reload thoes CDs if i rebooted my system. However Like i said. Would u know of any way to fix this if it isnt Mirar.

By the very fact that you "uninstalled" mirar - as initially stated - makes me believe this might be it - it doesn't hurt to just search the registry for those entries. If not, I don't know - but troubleshooting is a process of elimination. I'm afraid at this point I'm going to let somebody else with the specific expertise you need handle this. Wish I had more information for you.
