I use vista ultimate x64

Control Panel -> System and Maint -> System ->
" Advanced Systems Setting" tab -> "Advance" tab -> click on "Settings" under "Performance -> "Advanced" tab -> Change Virtual Memory.

You can clear the check box to automatically manage paging.
Go to Drive [Volume Label]
Click on Custom Size, select size, click okay, and that's it!

Virtual memory=page file I could tell you a whole lot more if you filled in your systems specs(lower left corner) so we know what hardware you have

Why do you wish to do that, out of curiosity? Are you experiencing some sort of "low on virtual memory" error message? If so, that can sometimes be caused by a memory leak, in which case bumping up the pagefile size may only be a temprary reprieve - or none at all.

Vista manages memory and the page file just fine anyway.

I have updated my system specs. btw. I play games like Company of Heros and its a little glitchy sometimes. I feel with my system it should run games like prototype, arma 2, and company of heroes with no glitches. CoH runs pretty good, but not great. arma2 sucks, and prototype bogs my system down pretty bad... any other suggestions?

You need a new cpu. Athlon's 64 are weak and obsolete.

I thought the processer wasnt bad. do you think that switching to a quad core will make that big of a difference??

Quad core is only worth it if you get a new system with a P55 chipset and a core i5. The Athlon 64 is old and obsolete. For now, Intel is the way to go.
