Error 0x80070057 installing vista 64

Ok, I just bought a new hdd, a caviar black 640 gb, to replace my 250 gb old one, i decide to fresh install vista 64, and got error message 0x80070057 . any ideas?
I'm running q6600, ddr-1066 4gb, 9800gtx+ sli. evga 750i ftw.

I searched several ideas in this forum but havent find the answer yet.

What was the entire BSOD message ?

its not a bsod, its an error message ( a small window appear).

Update: try to connect the new hardrive to another pc, its detected, and say it needed to be formatted, so i give it a go, and it say "windows unable to complete..."
next one, tried the disk management, it say "healthy, RAW" then try it to format it but get the same message "windows unable to complete the format"

any ideas?

You may need to use a 3rd party tool to format it properly...
The HDD manuf. website will have FREE diagnostics that will do this...
