52 GB gone the next morning. Help is needed.

I'm not sure how this happened. My disk is 139 GB and I had 52 left. The next morning I get on my laptop (which is today) and, mysteriously, all that is left is 86 megabytes. iTunes was opened and there was a message saying that 'iTunes cannot complete--- Due to the disk drive being full---' So I decided to see how much space was left (I don't have a clue what iTunes was trying to accomplish...) and I saw that 52 gigs was gone.

I checked all my Local Disk folders to find that nothing odd occurred, as well as checking my desktop items, and the iTunes folders to see if anything had happened. I am still looking around, but so far, I have found absolutely nothing.

Please, assist.

I've already completed a full Norton 360 scan... But I will try out Malwarebytes.

The loss of HD space is most likely to be caused by Vista indexing, System Restore and Shadowcopies.

Hmm... When I type in "vssadmin list shadowstorage", Command Prompt says, "No items found that satisfy the query".
