What security software do you have?
I would do a full AV scan, making sure it was up to date.
Also you should download and make a full & updated scan with malwarebytes.
Malwarebytes Freeware
Please let us know of any finds in malware &/or AV scan.

I am happy it is now gone.
Sometimes this can occur when the User Account Control (UAC) is open & not protected.
Malware can creep in & disrupt files & cause the alert you received.
Good that the AV was clear also.
But I would urge you to do the malware scan as suggested, just to make sure everything is clear, OK?
If anything found let me know, how many, what name.
Finally, "Don't Panic', we're here to help.
