Create an Association

I am using Windows Vista.

For some reason I cannot open up any of my files or programs.
The only files and programs that I can open up is what is on my desktop.
For an Example:
I can click on "My computer" icon but, I cannot go any further then that. I click on Local Disk C: Drive and a message pops up and says.....

"This file does not have a program associated with it for performing this action. Create an association in the Set Associations Control Panel."

Can you help me please! :)

I think that if you read the opening of the tutorial it will be explained.
Click on the extension that you see on the tutorial then
Basically you save to the desktop and then click on the two extensions that I mentioned.

You would just need to follow the steps at the link above step by step to download and merge the exe and lnk (LNK) to do so. :)
