    Re: Vista ISO download

Thanks for the email, is it okay if i rehost the original file, or keep it in the archive listed? I wouldn't have a problem throwing up a server or two as a distribution for OEM only users to use the image you provided. Just checking as it would make your life and many others easy, given microsofts dropped support, no availability to find same .iso on digital river microsofts os distribution maker, or through dell.com

Rehost it by all means. Just don't give out my download URL. Product keys are up to them of course.

Just a note folks - Microsoft's Windows Vista support has ended today.

After April 11, 2017, Windows Vista customers will no longer receive new security updates, non-security hotfixes, free or paid assisted support options, or online technical content updates from Microsoft. Microsoft has provided support for Windows Vista for the past 10 years, but the time has come for us, along with our hardware and software partners, to invest our resources towards more recent technologies so that we can continue to deliver great new experiences.

    https://support.microsoft.com/en-gb/help/22882/windows-vista-end-of-support
Of course we will still be here but Microsoft will no longer be making sure your computer is secure and you really should consider upgrading to a newer OS.

Yes indeed. I'm wondering if the requests for ISO images will slowly disappear now.
