I recently carried out a full System restore to take my PC back to original factory settings. Before starting I followed all the on screen instructions and backed everything up to DVD. I then successfully recovered Windows and all was looking good. When attempted to restore everything from disc I got the following message:- 'Restore did not finish successfully. Error code. The parameter is incorrect (0x80070057). Does anyone know what this means and how to get around it as I now have 6 DVDs full of things I cant get at.

Thanks for the tip. I tried the instructions outlined both automatically and manually but neither worked. I still get the same message when trying to restore and don't know where to go next.
