Before attempting to reinstall the OS, you really should check out the hard drive because of the "Failure Fixed Disk" error. You can try the Samsung website for a hard drive utility. You would need to download the utility, burn it to a disk as a bootable disk (usually "Burn ISO to disk" will do that successfully) and boot to the disk and run the utility. It should check the hard drive and verify whether the hard drive needs to be replaced or not.
If Samsung does not have a hard drive utility you can download, try one of the hard drive manufacturers especially if you can identify what brand of hard drive is in your Notebook. Go to the web site of that brand and use their utility.
Once you know if the hard drive is OK or not, post back and let us know so we can proceed?
