I changed the battery in my HP Pavilion Slimline and it changed my bios language to Chinese or Japanese. I can"t change it back to English because I can't read anything on the page.

Thanks

Doh... the best way is to look for a video or wedpage, even the manual will show you the bio layout.. Then just move the slector to the right spots.

Google up your model and manual, hp has everything avaliasble on their site.

I got it changed.

Next time check your attitude at the border.

You know this is exactly the kind of response that may discourage us from helping you after all why would we help someone who is so seemingly ungrateful? This is an english website and most (maybe all) of us know nothing more about Chinese or Japanese than you do. So really what do you expect? What more information can we provide? In addition I fail to see what in his response warranted that reply. Others might say the same thing about you.

What are you talking about? This has nothing to do with Chinese or Japanese, nor does it have anything to do with the help I received.

My issue was his/her condescending remark of "DOH"! Look this up in the dictionary and get back with me. I'm asking for help and the first word he/she types makes reference to me being stupid! You help people, you don't take personal shots at them.

My Computer

I'm sorry if you felt offended but you know he could have meant that a different way than that. However I don't see what more he could have done.
