Hi Folks, (Vista 32, Dell intel core 2 quad)

I use my computer for business. Every day for a month now some some of svchost kicks on and I literally cannot use my computer.

I just went to taskmgr and view all ........and I'm seeing svchost 2,824,000 I/O reads......and ..9, 023,226 I/O other.

In taskmagr I can end process but it says the system may become unstable.

what can I do other than go to the Apple Store and buy a Mac.

For all intents and purposes this is preventing my computer from functioning for my business.

Can anyone help me to stop this thing or is my computer ruined??? I'm not an IT specialist. Far from it.

Please help.
