Did you do any Windows updates recently? That's about the only thing I can find on it. If so try restoring to a point before the last update cycle if you have the restore point.

I know that the automatic restore points were disabled. That's why I'm trying to do it manually before installing a new program ;)

Is it the same to create a restore point on a Safe Mode than on a Normal Mode ?

I don't really know. Do you have an external drive? It would be even better to make a system backup image. Macrium Reflect Free and Easus ToDo Backup Free are both very good. There are others also. A good source is www.TheFreeCountry.com

It seems most people with that error are trying to use the Task Scheduler. I didn't see anything other than yours about that error with a restore point.

I don't understand why Revo Uninstaller can do it a restore point and why I can't do it manually.

Try Windows key and R
Type rstrui.exe
See if that opens it and allows you to continue

The problem is not to restore but to create a restore point.

Try Windows key and R

See if that opens it and allows you to continue

Yes do you not get the option to create a restore point at the bottom of the box that opens?

You could try it programmatically with AutoIt using this Function

AutoIt is a free Windows scripting programming language. It has simple syntax. You can ask on the AutoIt forum if you need help making your first script. The AutoIt installer is small and should go on without problems.

and what about ERUNT ?

By the way, I have start VSS service and Windows Back Up service, both were stopped, but I still have the same error.

You haven't said if you have or have not a Restore Point from before the problem. If so I don't see why you haven't tried it.

I don't see the relavance of ERUNT. It's a registry backup tool. Do you have ERUNT backups? If so I don't know why you aren't trying them instead of doing all this detective work. Seems like heading West to get to the Far East to me.

I have a few Restore Points as you watched on my previous screenshots, but I don't know if it's before the problem occured.

This is not a new troubles. I noticed this trouble a few months ago, but I don't know exactely the date, that's the problem.

No, my ERUNT backups are from 2012, too old back up.

Anyway, if you can run a program that creates a restore point programmatically, it's probably using the function used by the AutoIt program.

Why it's so hard to fix this issue ? I don't really understand it. Restore to a previous installation, this is not a solution; overall, when I don't know when this troubles began.

If you don't know then how do you expect others to? It would seem to me that the last restore point created is the only option. Since the error prevented any from being created afterwards. It's only simple logic.

But you seem to want to have a problem rather than take any action. No one can force you to try something.
I see no point in going on.

Ok, I will try it but I don't think so it will fix my issue. Will try with older Restore points, but not the latest ones as this issue is not new and we will see.

Which program can do restore points on demand, low in ressources and memory ?
