Help issue with display

hello im sorry but im a noob in this forum but i really need some help, for some reason my hp pavillion dv6000 vista home premium with a Nvidia card is having display problems, the only way i can think to explain it is the color looks similiar to a photo negative that you get when you get pictures developed i cant figure out where to change this or how it even happend plz help anyone i dont know what to do

Check to make sure that you do not have one of the High Contrast color schemes selected by mistake. You will want to use Windows Aero or Windows Vista Basic for a nice one.

How to Change the Color Scheme in Vista

If that does not help, then you might try reinstalling your video drivers to see if it helps.

Brink I feel what he is saying is that his display has become a colour negative.... eg red looks green, white becomes black.etc

Kashmoney.... in control panel click on the NVIDIA control Panel Icon. you don't say which card you have but the NVIDIA control panel should be there

Click on "restore defaults" (top right hand side)

If that doesn't help something wrong with the video card. But it sounds like you were playing around with colour management or something you have installed recently has changed your colour mapping.
