Need help finding graphic accelerator for old Vista version

I have one of the oldest Vista version (don't know the exact version number) for my laptop. And because it ran slowly, I made the mistake of uninstalling the Intel R graphic accelerator, among other programs, thinking that that will improve speed.

But then right after removing it my screen appearance stretches horizontally and the graphics blur slightly. And there is no way that I can restore it back to the way it was before no matter what I do with the screen resolution adjuster. So I tried downloading the Intel graphic accelerators again, for Vista 32 and 64, and all gave me the message that my computer does not meet the requirement for installation.

Furthermore Intel's chat support is currently unavailable and their phone support is only available for paid customers. So I need help with the best alternatives. And I am not technical at all so will need something simple that I can do myself.

Type rstrui.exe in the start search box
Right click the result and click Run as Administrator
select a restore point from before you uninstalled the driver

Hi,
If that doesn't work, I can try to find the correct driver for you, simply follow these steps:

Start --> search for devmgmt.msc.

Run it.

Go into display adapters, and right click "Standard VGA Adapter" or whatever is listed, click properties.

In the details tab, select the Hardware IDs property.

Please copy and paste all the data here for me, and I will search for a driver.

Regards,
Josh
