My wireless connection is showing as not connected when I put my mouse pointer over the icon in the task bar but if I click on it to open the connection window it shows as connected, which it is

This has only happened in the past few days. Any ideas on how to fix this would be appreciated ....

Hello Ashg,

Have you tried updating or re-installing your wireless adapter's driver?

You can do this through the Device Manager.

Hi Chase

No I haven't. I will have to try and find a copy. The laptop is an Acer and finding their drivers on the net is not very easy as I found in the past :(

If you give me the model number of the laptop I'd be glad to try and help find the driver.

It's a Aspire 6930Z . I'm very busy at present and just haven't had the time to look

If you could find it I would be very grateful.

Ash.
