PCs connecting to Vista stuck at "Identifying"; Can't access internet.

When I try to connect my Win XP or my Win7 machines to my Vista machine (which uses dial-up/56k BTW) for internet access, the connection gets stuck at Identifying/Unidentified Network and I thus only have local access to the connected machines. This issue occurs whether I connect using wired or adhoc. My other computers can connect to each other (and thus the net as well) without any hassles whatsoever, in fact, Vista itself can inversly connect to my other PCs and access the internet without any issues. :x

I am going to assume that the problem lies with my Vista pc.

I've already run a ipconfig /all command for convienence. Can someone help me out?

Hello bluestorm05 and welcome to the forums

Uninstall Driver

1. Open the start menu
2. In the search box, type Device Manager and open it
3. Expand the Network adapters category by clicking on the little + sign
4. Right click on your adapter and select Uninstall
5. Reboot your computer after that finishes

When your computer has finished rebooting, run the attached script
