Strange sharing problem.

OK, so I have PC1, PC2, PC3.

PC1 and PC2 sharing works perfectly.

PC3 has a problem.
PC3 can see PC1's shares, but not the other way around. However, PC1 can "see" PC3 (the icon in the "Network" folder), but can't open it reveal the shares.
PC3 cannot even see PC2, nor can PC2 see PC3.

This looks pretty bizarre to me. Any ideas why this is so?

Tis strange then, as PC1 an PC2 do fine. just issues with PC3. Double check settings on PC3. Really would seem to be no reason for it to not be able to share as the PC1 and 2 do.
You could try flushing the DNS and resetting it . command prompt, as administrator, ipconfig /flushdns , then press enter, then ipconfig /release , then enter, then ipconfig /renew , then enter,
Then reset it for networking .

OK, I got it to work. What I did was turn off all network sharing...and then turn it back on again. I'm not sure why this worked or why I ultimately thought of doing this, but it worked. Maybe it's similar to a "reboot". Maybe there was something corrupted...or I reset something obscure that I never found.
