Vista connecting to "Unidentified Network" but not the internet

Hello all

We just recently upgraded the router and modem for our home internet. I can connect to the internet through other devices (work computer, etc.), but am unable to connect through my 7 year old Compaq Presario CQ50. Currently, it is connecting to the "unidentified network", but won't connect to the internet. So far, I've:

1. Unplugged the modem and power cord for a few minutes, then plugged back in.
2. Uninstalled the network adapters (Atheros AR5007 and Realtek RTL8102E) and restarted the computer. Additionally, I tried updating the device drivers but it says they're up to date
3. Disabled IPv6
4. Modified the routing table using "route delete 0.0.0.0"
5. Ran "ipconfig/renew"
6. Forgot the network then reconnected.

None off these have worked unfortunately. Any suggestions are greatly appreciated.

P.S. I'm wondering if it could possibly be an outdated network card maybe?

You have to do ipconfig /release before a renew. Please run ipconfig /all and paste the output here.

Unfortunately, I can't paste the output from that computer since I'm not connected to the internet. Is there a way around that? I ran the ipconfig/all command and notice that for all "Tunnel adapter Local Area Connection", it says DHCP Enabled: No. Could this be the cause of the problem?

That shouldn't have anything to do with it. Can you take a picture?

It won't let me post a picture unfortunately. Maybe I'll try typing up the entire thing unless you have any other suggestions?

You can upload the picture to a photo hosting website and post the link. You could also PM it to a mod or admin and ask them to post it.
