My first time posting here, but I figure someone might have a solution. I'm trying to install the QuickUpload tool from Snapfish. I get to the screen that says I should see the "yellow bar" at the top of the screen that requests my permission to install ActiveX control for this program. I've seen the bar before for other ActiveX addons, so I know it is there and functions.
Problem is....the yellow bar never appears for this program.
I've communicated via email with Snapfish regarding the problem. They tell me that I probably already have the program and that I need to uninstall it and then the reinstall. I've searched all the ActiveX programs I have and this one from Snapfish is NOT there. So, that's not the answer. Tonite, I tried again, and this time, it went directly to install mode. That was strange. When complete, it says the install was not complete, as there was an error. No error code given.
I have a ton of photos to upload, and all my albums are on this site, and they were installed from my previous computer that had XP. This new notebook has Vista Home Premium. Any ideas as to the problem?
