I find the assocation of windows live mail and messenger very annoying. In WL Mail, I use both my hotmail and gmail accounts. I prefer to save my passwords so I don't have to enter them every time I open my mail. However, if I get WL Mail to rememberr my passwords, my hotmail account automatically pops up first when I want to sign into WL Messenger, even though I never use hotmail in messenger (just the gmail sign-in). So now, I always have to change the sign-in information on messenger because somehow it prefers my hotmail account.
Simply clickinig 'forget me' in WL Messenger is not the solution since this also makes WL Mail forget my hotmail password, so I have to enter this one very time I open my mail.
So somehow I would like to dissociate the two, to have WL Mail to remember my passwords, but WL Messenger to forget the hotmail account. Does anyone know if there's any way to do so? I hate these automatic associations that you don't have any control over!
