Flash Player won't install

Running Vista Home Prem 32 bit

Can't install Flash Player, receive error message:

Runtime Error!
Program: C:\programfiles\Internet Explorer\iexplore.exe

This application has requested the runtime to terminate it in an unsual way.

How do I fix this so I can install Flash Player?

Thanks,

21 views and no answers? A great help this Forum is, huh. Guess I better get used to living without Flash Player, like in the Win98 days.

Don't know if this will help, but worth a try.

Disable all add-ons and toolbars in IE. Make sure no instances of Player are running. Install.

Another link that might help if you have previous versions of Flash installed. I believe we've all had problems with installations of Flash...

Edit: woops, that's for Firefox, I hope it's still relevant.
