Real Player video/audio interruptions

In trying to watch a video on Real Player with my Vista, it keeps interrupting and then starting again where it left off. It is very frustrating. Is there some way to stop this?

Hello KKMeadows,
Is this live streaming video, or is this something already on your PC ?.
Can you please post some system specs, thanks.

I use RealPlayer all the time and have had this problem once or twice. I think it was because the download was corrupted, not because of RealPlayer itself. Does this happen with other videos or just the one? Also, have you tried playing the same video on another player, to compare? And to follow up with stoneys-nutz' question, is this live streaming video or is the video already on your system?

This is not a live stream. It's a video regarding a new book coming out from Crossway Books. I have the Vista Home 32 bit I believe. Maybe I should uninstall Real Player and reinstall. Thank you for responding

Yes, you can always uninstall RealPlayer and reinstall, but before you do, why don't you try playing the video with another app, just to see whether the problem is with RealPlayer or the video itself. You can use whatever player came as the default on your system.

Also, by the way, did you know that RealPlayer has a FABULOUS Download This Video link, that allows you to download almost any video, movie or music link on the web!!!! To set it up, go to: Tools, Preferences, Download and Recording. To use it, while playing the video you want to download, just bring your cursor to the top of the video and the link will pop up.
