It looks like a program that people who want a 1 stop click and go type program.

You can get most of theses applications for free else where.

Looks like one of those slightly dodgy programs, which, like registry cleaners, often cause more harm than good. Not something I would use. Just back to the same old tips and tricks would be best.

Defrag
Remove unnecessary startups
etc etc.

If you follow all the normal guidelines, you will be fine. I certainly would not go near it, but of course it is your choice.

Richard

I actually downloaded it and ran just the scan part to see what it detected. It found 3 "problems", 2 of which I wasn't actually aware existed (but should have been) concerning shared access rights. To go further, I'd have to fill out a section concerning how I use the computer and all sorts of information and I'm not in the mood and further, I don't intend to actually let it do a tune-up or modification of any sort. I have not run the program to do the "tune-up" or any parts of it (let alone the one-click option where you have no control) even to fix these problems (though I will fix them myself now that I'm aware of them) - and I have no intention of doing so since I simply do not trust it to cause no harm. It's not even a matter of thinking it may somehow help - I'm much more concerned that it will cause some type of problem that may be difficult or complicated to resolve (pretty much what Richard said). It was probably unwise to even download the trial, but it seemed interesting so I did it just to check it out - at least it doesn't seem like the download and scan alone are dangerous and I didn't get the impression it was a total scam to infect me (and hope I'm right, but I'll be running some full scans after it is uninstalled just to be sure).

After typing this post I intend to remove it using Revo just to be extra sure I get everything.

I hope this helps.

Good luck!

P.S. Revo found LOTS of stuff that the regular uninstall program didn't get both in the registry and in the files - so if you do decide to try it and then uninstall, do so with Revo in Advanced mode. Considering the changes I saw it made in the registry (just the ones that weren't removed with the uninstall program!) I'm now certainly glad I didn't let it do its thing. As Richard surmised, it seems to incorporate "registry cleaning" in the mix (and it seemed like a whole lot more involving quite a few other installed programs that didn't seem to be related but had changes made to them which would have done who knows what). Who knows what changes it might have made if I had let it do its thing - I shudder to think about it and am glad it is gone and now I'm going to run every malware and spyware and AV program I have in full scan mode. If I had just downloaded it I would System Restore as well, but I actually did it 15 days ago (I can't remember how I learned of it - it was probably in some post) and never got around to testing it before this post and don't really want to go through the hassle of re-installing everything done since then (since I did download and install quite a few programs after running through our listing of free Vista software (plus IE9 beta) and who knows how many updates of various sorts plus whatever configuration changes I made and I honestly can't remember if I did or what they were). I'll trust the programs to work and then run Hijack This to see if I see anything suspicious. Still it was a free trial and did alert me to two network issues I hadn't noticed - but it was spooky how much Revo had to remove and how much even what I saw affected let alone what else was there before the uninstall program was run). I really should know better than this - anyway, let's hope nothing that can't be cleaned up is found (preferably nothing) and everything is back as it was. I have to remember to also check task scheduler for update or other scheduled tasks and msconfig for any startup entries.

Yeah I decided to Install it to test it out and I was really shocked at the Amount of Ram and CPU Power it used about 100MB  Plus to me it was a Load of rubbish for a Pro but for a Newbie to a Computer who wants to speed it up then it isn't bad, But it does slow down your computer
