Windows Movie Maker will not let me import Video.

I was messing around with Windows Movie Maker, making some videos using pictures, adding transitions, effects. Etc.

But It will not let me import a video I have taken with my camera. I know there are a couple videos in a folder, and it doesn't even SHOW a video that is there. Is this normal? Are you not allowed to edit a video from a camera? My camera uploads in .MOV. I play them with Quicktime.

    Welcome
This MS bulletin explains what can and cannt be done.
MOV does not seem to be listed
Import video files, pictures, and audio into Windows Movie Maker
    but this may help
    http://www.mp4kits.com/Converter/Win...wmm-converter/
    The software does cost, however.

Ok, Thank you! I think I will be purchasing Cyberlink PowerDirector 9 Deluxe. From what I've read, it's the best movie making software out there!
