AVG-antivirus better then Avast?

I ran Avast on my C: partition and have a worm (Sober-ao) is what Avast tells me. I cannot delete it....

It sits in my Oulook archive.pst.

When i transfer the file to another computer, i get the message that the file is missing, so i had to transfer it back.

I like to remove the worm. So my question is:

is AVG a better antivirus program or is there a way to get rid of the virus without deleting the archive.pst file

thanks

The archive.pst file is a list of emails inside the .pst file. I think what Avast is telling you is that there is a file attachment in an email inside of the .pst file that is Sober-ao. Need to find the email in your .pst file and remove the infected file attachment.
I prefer AVG but since there is not a freebeAVG for Vista X64 I have to use Avast.

well i tried to find it, but did not succeed. Also how do i get into the archive.pst file?

By the way i thought that AVG free version was for Vista 64 also. It seems they have a newer version, but i may be wrong.

Thanks
