Windows firewall turns off at start up.

hey guys,
ihave norton internet security but its not very good for gaming so iswitched to windows fire wall i got a great improvement,but i recentley noticed that at startup i have to manualy turn the firewall back on,i have a firewall in my router but when i travel i like to be on the safe side, so how can i fix this??

You can configure the games to connect through Norton Security/ and your Router firewall.
Norton probably disables the Window Firewall settings by default.

You could always schedule a task to run a command line to enable the firewall on system start up.

Go to start > type in task and click Task Scheduler. Then make a new task to execute the command netsh firewall set opmode enable on startup. Best give it a 3 minute delay or so incase its disabled when you log on. Or you could set it to execute the command when you come on after a 30 second delay or something. Thats what i would do rather than trying to change everything on norton.

I often find a workaround and never fix the real problem, but hey it works :)
