Okay guys, bare with me here cuz i dont usually get on forums for help. Two days ago, my computer wad working fine. At one point, it was acting a bit laggy, and so i reboot it. Once it was back on, anything that tried to connect to the internet "stopped working" . I cant use firefox or ie or anything that would use internet. Im usinh mu itouch for now, but i really wish i could find a solution. I get a small message that says DEP closed the program to protect my computer. I cant do anything :( any ideas what i can do? Ive run malwarebytes multiple times and nothing. Ive turned off dep and tried just allowing a few programs and nothing. Thanks in advance.

I was using my computer and as I click to close the page, a message appeared telling me that internet explorer has stopped working. Of course Data Execution Prevention was involved but anyway I kept trying for at least 10 hours to try to resolve that problem but to no avail until I got an inkling that PC Confidential was the culprit. I uninstalled the aforementioned and problem soved. I'm using Windows Vista Home Premium bit32. I hope someone will find this info useful.
