Hello mzfakemail,

Welcome to Vista Forums.

Try using the process in the following guide:

Ultimate Malware Removal Guide -- Purge Your PC of Junk Files! | Maximum PC

Some of the advice in that guide and following comments are just painful. Some examples:

If GMER finds any rootkits it will warn you, just right click and disable them (they will appear in red), reboot, then open GMER again and delete them. If GMER doesnt do the trick RootRepeal (home (rootrepeal))
Comodo Registry Cleaner
ComboFix the Malware
Hopefully someone will understand what I mean.

I totally understand what you're referring to! ;)
Don't use Combofix unless an instructed advisor asks you to ... it can break your system!
Don't use any registry cleaners ... they can also mess up your system!

It does warn you so you cannot sue them, but users still will.
