AppCrash Ieexplore

My conputer does its updating on Wednesday nights and defragments. I tried to open my Windows Internet Explorer window, and it told me it had stopped working. I have the info here:

I did try to do a Windows restore point, but that did not solve my problem, I tried to restore it to the Service Pack update last week and that also did not solve the problem. I tried to google the Stackhash_843a error, but could not come up with anything for it.

I am not very computer literate, I usually just run World of Warcraft and look at AOL news. If anyone has suggestions, with basic answers it would be so much appreciated.

Could you go into c:\windows\minidump, zip the dump file (*.dmp) and upload it to us so we can debug it?

ok, I went to that location, did a send to : compressed folder and now I have a zip of it, but not sure what to do next or how to post it on here.

MY bad I work on vista and win 7 and I forgot to tell you how. click on the paperclip shaped icon in the reply (attachment ) . A new window will open and browse to where you have the zip file click upload and then close the window. Hope this helps

this one was caused by netio.sys. I dont have a true debugger to analyse it for you but I will foward this threads link to someone who has one, so he can take a look.

UNEXPECTED_KERNEL_MODE_TRAP (7f)
This means a trap occurred in kernel mode, and it's a trap of a kind
that the kernel isn't allowed to have/catch (bound trap) or that
is always instant death (double fault). The first number in the
bugcheck params is the number of the trap (8 = double fault, etc)
Consult an Intel x86 family manual to learn more about what these
traps are. Here is a *portion* of those codes:
If kv shows a taskGate
use .tss on the part before the colon, then kv.
Else if kv shows a trapframe
use .trap on that value
Else
.trap on the appropriate frame will show where the trap was taken
(on x86, this will be the ebp that goes with the procedure KiTrap)
Endif
kb will then show the corrected stack.
Arguments:
Arg1: 0000000000000008, EXCEPTION_DOUBLE_FAULT
Arg2: 0000000080050031
Arg3: 00000000000006f8
