I can not attach mp3 files on my Yahoo email account ever since getting Vista 64 Premium, it just keeps uploading but nothing ever happens. I have a cable connection. Also websites like Photobucket can not recieve image uploads. Yahoo is extremely slow when sending any kind of regular emails as well.

Please help.

How are you connecting to Yahoo mail, via your web browser,
or as a POP account in Windows Mail?
Which antivirus are you using.

I am connecting with the latest version of Firefox and through Yahoo email and antivirus is NOD32 ESET. I have used all three on my DSL connected XP old computer just 1 week ago and had no problems ever but since getting Cable internet (most websites load up blazing fast) and VISTA (oh the headaches!) it seems like some setting is blocking all the uploads from working correctly.............

This is a desktop, brand new. I never had these problems on my XP with DSL, but now since getting this Vista and Cable internet, I cannot attach mp3 files or attach images to yahoo mail and I can not upload images to photobucket.com and sites like Weigh****chers.com which have you enter data and upload it to there site, just freezes up. I had Yahoo tech support have me download the latest Java update and after doing that, I was able to attach all files and even some websites like Myspace ran much smoother until I closed my latest version of Firefox and then restart it to get back on the net to check email again. Same problems occured with Yahoo and Photobucket.
Dell wants to charge me $129 to check the problem, Photobucket doesnt respond to emails and Yahoo is telling me its an internet connection problem. I contacted my internet provider which says everything is working on their end. I have shut off Windows Firewall and shut off NOD32 antivirus and also adjusted NOD settings to not scan emails but the same problems persist. Any idea? I thought it must be a Vista problem since the problems never existed on my XP, DSL connection and NOD antivirus system. Thanks.

Please note that the newsgroup to which you posted is dedicated
to support for the Windows Mail program.
Unfortunately, we can't offer support here for Yahoo mail or
assorted Vista problems.
