Can't find way to stop Windows Live Mail from trying to send email

Can't find way to delete the below error message I received after I tried to
send an email to a wrong address. I keep getting this message, as Windows
Live Mail keeps trying to send the email. I know the address is incorrect, I
want to delete the email and not have Live Mail keep trying to send it.
Message is not in Drafts folder, so I can't simply delete. Can't find how do
do this in Help. Thx.

"The message could not be sent. The authentication setting might not be
correct for your outgoing e-mail [SMTP] server. For help solving this
problem, go to Help, search for "Troubleshoot Windows Live Mail", and read
the "I'm having problems sending e-mail" section. If you need help
determining the proper server settings, please contact your e-mail service
provider.

It should be in the Outbox, not in the Drafts.
If you can't delete it in the Outbox, disconnect your internet connection
and try again.
