hi there, people: today i found a very strange problem with WLMail
2009 (build 14.8064.0206):
1) preview doesn't work: it's all blank, empty, about the mail i just
can see Sender, Recipient, Date and Object.
2) if I try to open the mail double clicking, i cannot get better
results.
3) i also tried to export the mail on the desktop: nothing

outlook express, instead, still works fine.

the last time i used wlmail before today it worked.
have i to call ghostbusters?
pleeeease heeelp!

A few things to check:

If you look at the Message Source (Ctrl-F3) do you see any of the
message body?

If you click Reply on a message, does the original message show as
quoted in the message body?

In Tools, Options, Read do you have Read all messages in plain text set?
switch the option (either on or off) and try another message. Can you
now see the message body?

great, something has changed!
1) message source shows the original message, bingo!
2) Reply doesn't, sgrunt...
3) when I switched ON for plain text something strange appeared: mail
is always empty, but there are two attachment (txt and html, for mails
sent with html mode) or just txt for mails sent in simple text.

that's very odd, for me!
could you help me?

That says that the message is text is making it to the mail program.

When reading in plain text you should see an HTML attachment for HTML
mails, but for plain text messages, you shouldn't see a TXT attachment.

I'm guessing that you've reboot since the problem started. If not, do
that now. That may clear up the problem.
- If you still have a problem then try Start, Run and enter:
regsvr32 inetcomm.dll
- If that doesn't help, then see if the fix in this article applies:
Message Appears Blank and Has an ATT000XX.txt or ATT000XX.htm
Attachment
http://support.microsoft.com/?kbid=312351
- If that doesn't help, then in Internet Explorer, select View,
Encoding and uncheck Auto-Select and choose instead "Western European
(ISO)". Then try reading your messages.
