Checking checkbox in the application causes application to hang

Hello All, I have a dialog application which contain checkbox on it.When i check this checkbox application hangs up with this error message below "“Configuration program for Omni PCX Office doesn’t work anymore” Any idea why this error message appears, it happens only in Vista OS but not in xp,below is configuration of vista PC 32 bit OS Vista Business SP2 with Dutch language!!!

Have you tried to reinstall the program? This does sometimes happen after another program has been installed or by corruption.
Try running chkdsk to see if there is any problems with your HD.
Are any other programs failing?
