Yes. I love joking but don't include those emoticon things.
ANY software that will not allow the OS to update and replace system
files ** IS a joke ** in my opinion. That is *specifically* how malware
operates.

A hardware firewall plus the native Windows firewall provides sufficient
protection and will not hamper the OS nor it's ability to be updated.
Case, closed. Next !

Correct, and I don't want to start an argument here, but that's only when
Defense+ is installed. You have a choice to disable Defense+ when you setup
the firewall. If it was malware, do you think you would have a choice? No.

I just found out about this today. I exited Comodo and was finally able to download the patches from Tuesday (which are needed for SP 1). I will download the newer version of Comodo and install it to see if this helps.

This is an old thread. Comodo Firewall Pro has been updated at least once
more since these posts were written. Download 3.0.16 from CFPs home page if
you are going to reinstall.
