default folder when saving a file

#1
Is there a way to change the folder that windows 2003 defaults to when saving
a file? For example, when I select save, it usually defaults to "My
Documents". Is there a way to change this setting for all of the users who
log into the computer?

Yes, of course, but if you are saving only from a single program, you
might approach it differently; there are several ways.

The easiest is to simply change the User Shell Folders value for
documents in the registry, or simply right-click on My Documents and
change the folder it uses to whatever you want to use. Generally you
would do this under HKLM but if you already have accounts created, you
might have to run a reg file on login to reset whatever users already
have set.
