Solved doesn't recognize discs

i recently installed roxio creator pro and was having trouble burning cds so i uninstalled still didnt work and i reinstalled and uninstalled again now it doesnt reckognize any discs cd or dvd it just kicks them out and says please put in disc. everything was working fine til i tried the roxio did i lose the drivers or what and the unit is fine.

Welcome to the Forums! Keep in mind that text is a lot easier to read and understand when it is capitalized, spelled, and punctuated correctly.
Go into Device Manager and uninstall all drivers for your drive. Then reboot, and let Windows automatically reinstall them.

its burning and playing dvd's fine if i uninstall drivers what will it do to that. because i dont want to lose that also it still not playing audio cd's

went to windows and ran a driver search and found the problem was in my realttek high audio drivers missing. not sure which ones but found them here and it works fine now. Realtek
should have posted this sorry. thanks Mastiff1
