Solved Font folder problem

Hi,
I'm using software (Calibre - e-book editing) that invites me to embed fonts. When I access computer > windows > fonts folder, I get the alert - "! Fonts - You don't have permission to open this file. Contact the file owner or an administrator to obtain permission."
This is my personal machine - why is this?

Thanks

Windows by default locks you out of making changes to important system folders. Generally you don't need to and shouldn't change these permissions or the files otherwise you could end up with an unstable system. That said we have a tutorial for changing permissions. http://www.vistax64.com/tutorials/157304-folder-permissions.html
