I am still having problems with a green screen when i start up. If i start up in
normal mode i get a green screen if i reboot in safe mode it is ok, i have been told it could be the video card if so can I change this myself.
Normally I would say video card or monitor however if it works in safe mode then I agree about drivers even though it sounds strange. In safe mode a completely different set of drivers are used. There are generic drivers that are built into windows designed for pretty much any graphics card but normally for best performance one installs a driver from the manufacturer specific to their model. Safe mode uses the generic driver. Does that make sense? I suggest that you use this program to make sure that the driver is gone. Guru3D - Driver Sweeper
