How To Safely Remove Recovery Partition?

I recently installed Windows 7, but due to performance issues, I had to revert back to Vista. The F11 key was disabled because I upgraded, so I used a Vista Installer and inputed my serial code on my machine. Anyway, I created generic Recovery Discs, so I do not need my old unusable Recovery Partition any more. Is there any sort of way to safely remove it, and extend my C drive for more space?

BTW, I don't have HP Recovery Manager so, I cannot use the 'Delete Recovery Partition' feature on there.

Hello alex96.

In the Windows start menu right click computer and choose manage, in the left pane select disk management, in disk management if the "D: Recovery Partition" is directly to the right of the "C: System" partition you can use the tutorial at the link below to do what you want; please post back to keep us informed.
Be advised: once it's gone it's gone forever.

If it's not post a snip of disk management so we can see what you have.
