It didn't take long this time, either. Earlier this week, testers received alpha builds of Office 14, the codename for the successor to Office 2007. One tester from Russian site wzor.net has now leaked the screenshots of the applications included in the productivity suite.

While he didn't screenshot every application individually, we do now know that the list includes: Access 14, Excel 14, Groove 14, InfoPath Designer 14, InfoPath Filler 14, InterConnect 14, OneNote 14, Outlook 14, PowerPoint 14, Project 14, Publisher 14, SharePoint Designer 14, Visio 14, and Word 14.

Mabne not. It appears as though those screenshots where taken on either a very early Windows 7 build, or on Windows 7 using the Classic theme...

Ah 13 is being skipped for superstitious reasons....wouldn't you know it? :P

The interface looks alright. Hope it will be a little lightweight as compared to O12, cosidering O12 would work annoyingly slow on some of the slower computers running Vista.

I guess Win7+O14 is going to be less demanding than Win6+O12....something like Crysis and Crysis Warhead. Looking forward to this.

Microsoft seems to be taking a new direction in their software. Looking at messenger & mail, the previous versions loaded up slowly, whereas now, its a lot more responsive & once u close them the services/processes disapear too, instead of staying active.

Word looks very close to 2007.

I really bet I am going to be skipping this and just stay with 2007.
