Solved No monitor signal on Boot...HELP!!!

ok, i just did a fresh install of windows vista home premium (32 bit) i installed all drivers, but now every time i try to boot normally it will have a windows Loading screen, then the monitor will cut out and start flashing "no signal", weird thing is though i am fully capable of booting into safe mode (with networking ect) ive tried almost every method i could think of, not to mention employed the power of Google, yahoo, ask Jeeves, and various other search engines, not to mention arguing with HP tech support for an hour and a half.

Hi,

Boot into safe mode & delete all of the monitors in device manager reboot into normal mode & let is discover the monitor from there.

This should reset Windows & the setting to one you can see.

what was the blue screen? That might help. Also why did you reinstall? Was it because of a blue screen?

Is that all you got? There should have been some kind of error code. It might have listed a driver or some other file.

Also before the reinstall what happened when you turned on your computer.

When you turn on your computer immediately start hitting F8 until you get the advanced boot menu. Arrow down until you are at disable automatic restarts and hit enter. While you are at it try safe mode. If it stops during safe mode tell us the last driver listed and if you get a blue screen tell us the error name.
