Out SBS03 was working fine but got a crash at 3.03am last night, using
bluescreen view it mentions that ntkrnlpa.exe caused the crashed. What is
ntkrnlpa and is it required? can I disable it or how to fix the problem
associated with it. SBS03 has SP2 but havent' installed all the latest
patches.

Has this become a chronic/persistent error? Put another way, is there any
reason why you believe this is related to that file and not just a random
RAM/HD/misfiring electron issue? Sometimes computer crash and lock up.
Cosmic radiation, solar flairs, fed a gremlin after midnight, etc.

ntkrnlpa.exe is a core component in windows.

Thank you Cliff. I used a program called bluescreenView and its pointing
ntkrnlap.exe as the crasher. I hope its a random issue. It has been pretty
stable during the day. Lets see what happens in the midnight tonight. I have
disabled auto restart. The other thing I was wondering was I check the auto
update and it starts at 3am. I disabled that too to see what happens. Thank
you very much.
