I have never had a password for my email. It must be set to automatic,
however, I don't know it. How do I reset it if I don't know what it is?
Thanks,
Denise

Your ISP should be able to fix things up for you.

All email accounts have a password for security. If you don't remember it,
contact the email account provider to reset it.

You used Windows Mail to post this problem but posted in a newsgroup for a different email client, Windows Live Mail.

Windows Mail supports pop3 and imap accounts, thus the password issue would not be related to a Hotmail account in Windows Mail.

Are you using Windows Mail or and internet browser to access your email ?

If the password field is blank or being prompted when attempting to send/receive mail, then contact your isp or visit their web
site for instructions on how to reset your password.
