printing in grey scale

windows Vista/printer hp psc 2210 all-in-one.
The printer properties window won't open to allow me to choose the option of
printing in grey scale,so everything is printed in colour spanking my colour
cartridge

I also face this problem but driver updation doesn't solve it.
