Thank you for the tip.

I just can't understand why this is not already an option included in WLM.
As a family we have always used the Address book in Outlook Express then
Windows Mail as our main family address book. We've had different email
accounts all using the same address book and also able to make changes to
the same address book.

I've now installed WLM and imported the Windows Contacts form the current
user but find that making any changes to the default WLM contacts situated
in C:\Users\<your-user-name>\AppData\Local\Microsoft\Windows Live
Mail\Contacts\Default does not update the details in
C:\Users\<your-user-name>\Contacts.

We originally wanted to bin all our minor isp email addresses so created his
& her hotmail accounts in WLM. Having again imported Windows Contacts to the
individual Hotmail accounts we then discovered that any changes made in one
hotmail account had to be manually repeated in both the other hotmail
account as well as the WLM default account. Otherwise you have the situation
where not knowing which address in which contact list is the correct and up
to date one.

All we want to do is sync/share the same contacts in either hotmail account
with that held on the PC. In the same way you used to have an address book
next to the home phone that everyone had access to.

Finally is there no way to delete multiple contacts in hotmail other than
scrolling through using Ctrl & click? Moan over :-(
