Right-click on it and choose Delete. The folders you can't delete will have
Delete grayed out. Windows Mail will re-create it if ever recovers a
message again...

How can I remove/hide the recovered message folder.......I have no need for
it.
Thanks
Barry/Austin
Hi Barry,

If you able to without it reappearing, you can just delete it. If it keeps reappearing, try backing up your email messages and then delete your email account. Close and reopen Windows Mail and add your account back, then import your messages back.

The easiest way to get rid of this problem is to upgrade to Windows
Live Mail:

I too have the problem of recovered messages. If I upgrade to Windows Live
Mail, what happens to my Windows Mail and all of it's contents?
