Spooling-but not Printing

I have an HP Laserjet P2015d, and a Dell Latitude with Windows Vista.
Friday, I spent 45 minutes on the phone with HP, installing my printer
locally to a USB port and downloading and updating all the necessary drivers.
I can print from Notebook or Mozilla Firefox, but I cannot print from
Microsoft Word (or Office generally), or Microsoft Internet Explorer. I
click print, either the icon or "File Print," and my printer-information-box
says that the print job is Spooling. But nothing prints. On Friday,
something did print, over an hour after I pressed Print, a Word Document of 2
pages finally printed. But since then I've had no luck printing from
Microsoft programs. Earlier today, I called tech support and they said they
would get back to me at 3-4 pm. It's 4:30 now, and I've not heard from them,
so I guess I'll try them tomorrow...

Does the HP printer use the HPDirector software...? If so, it's an HP issue
which they should know about since it's been reported so many times.
