Solved SSD Driver

Do SSD and Hybrid drives use thier own controller. the MB controller or both?

Well, as you plug them into SATA Connections, it uses the mobo chipset drivers to run. There are no ssd drivers specifically, but they do have firmwares like all drives.

Kinda wishy wash answer.. sorry

I get you, that's not a ssd specific thing, as far as I understand drives, even regular drives have these controllers. But for ssd's theres only a couple makers. Sorta how intel makes the mobo setups for nearly every intel platform.
