Will microsoft allow me to keep my hard drives and OS when i:

transfer my current board to my kids' computer, to build a new computer around the existing board, all new software,

and let me keep my OEM O/S while i upgrade to a P35 board?

I know OEM rules don't allow transfers, etc, but I am buying a new board and new software, just mixing and matching?

anyone with OEM experience?

thanks

insense the motherboard is your pc that you installed the os on, video-cards,cpu,memory,hardrives,cd/dvd-drives can be upgradable.

you might be able to because it is the same manufacture of you P5B board and also depends on how much you change i believe.
