What do the coloured icons in WLM mean?

This going to sound a bit sad, but ... I upgraded from Outlook Express to
Windows Live Mail a few days ago. I notice that a few of my messages have a
pink or green arrow across the envelope icon when displayed in the list. I
have no idea what that indicates: there's nothing about it in WLM Help, and
an hour's googling hasn't helped.

I already figured out what red flags mean & how to get rid of them - no
thanks to WLM Help - but these pink & green marks have me stumped. Can
someone explain? and perhaps point to a comprehensively useful source of info
on WLM (this forum is excellent but no-one seems to have raised this before).

Thanks a lot! Just one of those small but annoying things!
